Bluegrass Irrigation Consulting has an understanding of all the technical and practical issues affecting your project. We specialize in Irrigation Consulting for Golf Courses, Municipal Projects, School Districts and Sports Fields.  

Our services include:

  • Review and assess the existing pump station and / or irrigation system as required
  • Audit the existing irrigation system to calculate current water use and efficiency
  • Provide a written report outlining recommendations and costs estimates for each
  • Prepare necessary Tender Documents and Specification for Contractors to Bid
  • Provide On Site Services (Before, During, and After Installation of the system)
  • GPS Mapping of irrigation related products and / or parameters of the entire site

Understanding: We understand that every project is unique. At BIC we believe that a good design starts with understanding the limitations of the product and the site.  Each project is customized and computer generated by a certified irrigation designer using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and fees are only determined once the scope of the project has been established. Our Irrigation Association certified designer will help to select a cost effective irrigation system that meets your agronomic and environmental requirements.

Dedication: Bluegrass Irrigation Consulting will conduct periodic installation inspections to not only review installation progress, but to follow-up on documentation and procedures. We train the superintendent to become knowledgeable in installation procedures to fully understand the components of the system and know how they are installed, used, and maintained.

Full Service: Bluegrass Irrigation Consulting can provide a final GPS drawing of not only the as-built irrigation system, but also including course features, drainage, property lines, buildings, and all maintenance related items. A final walk through of the project will ensure the system meets all the standards and specifications developed in the preliminary and design phases. The consultant, the superintendent and the product representative will collectively write the programs and schedules to facilitate 'night-time' or 'grow-in' watering.
